Grandma's Beet Jelly
8 to 10 large beets
5 1/2 cup water
1 box Sure-Jell
1/2 cup lemon juice
4 1/2 cup beet juice
6 cup sugar
1 box raspberry jello mix
Boil beets in water until skin is easy to remove. Peel beets and
cover with water. Let boil until tender; drain. Save the juice
from the beets. Combine beets and remaining ingredients. Bring
to a hard boil (5 minutes); stir.
Makes 5 or 6 pints.
