Pennsylvania Dutch Beets

1 pound whole or sliced canned beets, drained)
1/4 lb. bacon
salt and pepper

Slice beets evenly. Cut bacon into small pieces and fry until crisp. Add bacon and drippings to beets, salt and pepper to taste. Reheat to serving temperature.
Serves 4
